Children's ministry rotation template
Volunteers tell you which Sundays they can serve. You assign, or let auto-fill do it.
4 lists · 8 rows · volunteers give availability, you assign
Who it's for
For the person who schedules children's ministry volunteers every month: a coordinator, a pastor's assistant, or the parent who got volunteered. It works for one room or several, for two services or one. Volunteers say which Sundays they can serve, you assign by hand or let auto-fill spread the load, and everyone gets their dates by email with a reminder the day before.
What's on the page
Exactly what volunteers would see, before anyone signs up. Dates move forward so the example is always in the future.

Kids wing, main building
Thanks for serving our littlest ones. Check every service you could cover this month. You'll get an email with your assignments once the schedule is set, and a reminder the day before.

Questions people ask
- How is this different from a first-come signup?
- This template runs in availability mode. Volunteers check every service they could cover, and nothing is locked in until you assign. That means nobody grabs the easy Sundays and nobody gets a date they can't make. If you'd rather have people claim spots directly, switch the mode in the editor.
- What happens next month?
- Extend the page by a month and the same services carry forward with fresh dates. Your volunteers get one email asking for next month's availability. You don't rebuild anything.
- Can I require a background check?
- The template includes a background-check checkbox at signup. You can make it required, reword it, or delete it. Answers show up next to each name in your list.
