What we collect

Organizers: your email address (to sign you in) and an optional name. If you pay, Stripe handles your card; we store only a customer reference.

Volunteers: the name, email, optional phone and any answers you type into a board, plus what you signed up for. No account is created.

Everyone: the IP address of a submission, kept for abuse prevention, and standard server logs.

What we do with it

Run the board: show the organizer who signed up, send confirmations, reminders and schedule emails, and let you cancel from a link. Organizers can email everyone on their own board; you can stop those with one click in any such email.

We do not sell personal information, run advertising, or add volunteers to any marketing list.

Who sees it

The organizer of a board sees everything entered on that board. Other volunteers see first names on the public board unless the organizer hides them. Our service providers (hosting, database, email delivery, payments, file storage, and an AI provider when an organizer uses the AI builder to describe a board) process data on our behalf under their own terms. AI requests contain only the organizer's description, never volunteer data.

How long

As long as the organizer keeps the board. Organizers can delete boards or their whole account, which permanently deletes every signup on them. Bounced or unsubscribed addresses are kept on a suppression list so we never email them again.

Your rights

Ask us to show, correct or delete your data at support@justsignup.io. Volunteers can also ask the organizer, who can remove them directly.
