Volunteer Scheduler Pro is scheduling software for churches: ministry leaders collect each volunteer's preferences and the program builds the schedule, and volunteers manage their assignments through a login and a mobile app. That app holds a 2.6-star rating on the App Store (49 ratings, October 2026), and most of the low reviews are about signing in. JustSignup takes the other route: one page per rota at one link, volunteers sign up or give their availability with a name and email, and there is nothing to log in to. Their price is not on a page we could verify, so it is not in the table. JustSignup Pro is $9 a month or $79 a year for the whole church.

If you schedule a dozen ministries with hundreds of volunteers and want the software to generate a whole quarter from everyone's preferences and family groupings, Volunteer Scheduler Pro does that and JustSignup does not. If your volunteers' complaint is the login, and what you need is the greeter rota and the Advent readers at one link with a reminder the day before, JustSignup is the simpler one.
