JustSignup vs Doodle for volunteer sign-ups
Doodle is the tool everyone knows for picking a meeting time, and in 2024 it added sign-up sheets. The free plan shows ads, caps a sheet at 20 time slots, and leaves out the two things a volunteer coordinator needs most: a limit on how many people take a slot, and automatic reminders. Both are Professional features at $15 a month or $132 a year per organizer (Doodle help center, September 2026). JustSignup's free page has spot limits and a reminder the day before, and Pro is $9 a month or $79 a year for the whole organization.

If you're picking a date with eight board members, Doodle is still the right tool. If you're filling shifts, where three people can't take the same slot and someone has to be reminded, the free Doodle sheet can't do it and the paid one costs more than JustSignup for less.
