Museums & historic houses

Docent, greeter and gift-shop shifts, filled every week.

A small museum's front desk depends on the same few dozen volunteers, a binder or a spreadsheet, and someone calling around when a docent is sick.

Post the days you're open and the schedule rolls forward on its own. Docents and greeters pick their shifts from a phone, get a reminder the day before, and can cancel from their confirmation email, which reopens the spot. You see the gaps for the whole month on one screen.

Questions

Is it free for a small museum?
Yes. One page with up to 30 volunteers is free, with no ads. Pro is $79 a year for the whole museum, and Pro + Texting is $290 a year with text reminders and group texts.
Do volunteers need an account?
No. A name and email is all they enter. The confirmation email has a link to change or cancel.
Can volunteers choose a room or station?
Yes. Each room or station is its own spot with its own count, so volunteers pick the parlor or the gift shop, not just a time.
Can we put the schedule on our website?
Yes. Pro includes an embed code, so the schedule sits on your own volunteer page.
Will you set it up for us?
Yes. Send your weekly schedule and we'll build the page for free.
