Does this replace Planning Center?: No, and it doesn't have to. Keep Planning Center for services and the worship team. Use JustSignup for the sign-ups that include people outside your Planning Center roster: meals, events, VBS, the nursery parents.
Do volunteers need an account or an app?: No. They open the link, tick what they can do, and enter a name and email. The confirmation email has a link to change or cancel.
What does it cost for a church?: One page is free, with up to 30 volunteers and no ads. Pro is $79 a year for the whole church, every ministry included. Pro + Texting is $290 a year and adds text reminders and group texts.
